Two Academy in Exile projects (Gardens of Refuge and Family-based challenges to individual and gender rights: lived experiences of Afghan migrant youth in Germany) were presented at the 2026 TU Dortmund University International Office’s Global Gallery. The Global Gallery presents outstanding projects and initiatives with an international focus to the university public in the form of poster presentations. The initiative highlights what the university is doing in the field of internationalization and sparks conversation about best practice examples.
